Abbas Keikhavani

Abbas Keikhavani was born in Tehran in 1986. A cinematographer and fine art photographer by profession, Abbas has worked extensively in the Iranian film industry, while also pursuing his own personal photography projects at the same time.

As a photographer, Abbas’ focus is on portrait, stage, and fashion photography. As well, through his works, Abbas strives to evoke emotion and tell his viewers stories, which often deal with intense psychological and emotional issues. In using both colour and black and white techniques, Abbas is effectively able to draw his audiences into his dark, surreal, and harrowing world.
